Tommerup's Dairy Farm has plenty of activities on offer to guests staying at our authentic 6th generation farm.
MILKINGOur dairy herd is milked every morning and afternoon. We invite our guests to join our farming family at the dairy where you can try your hand at milking a cow, see how milk is stored and exactly what's involved in producing quality fresh milk in our small scale commercial dairy.
Milking happens at around 7am and 4pm daily. Guests join us at the dairy just once daily. (see your welcome information for details) |
Animal FeedingThe menagerie of animals on Tommerup's Farm are fed daily. Our farm is generally home to calves, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens and guinea pigs. Get your hands dirty and join Kay to feed the farm animals.
Calf & Pig Feeding
Our pigs and calves are fed on nutritious milk from our milking herd. Squeals of delight can be heard from the pigs as the quad bike arrives laden with buckets of milk.
Tanker DayOur milk is collected by tanker every 2nd day and delivered to the Norco milk factory for processing. Come along and view the process as the tanker driver checks and collects our milk.
