Perfect for larger groups or families that like a little extra space, this sprawling house has been home to 5 generations of the Dave's family since being build in 1888.  The Homestead is perfectly located for spectacular views across the farm with a covered verandah on 3 sides perfect for relaxing.  Just a short walk to the dairy and to feed the chickens with ancient fig trees providing a beautiful spot for a shady family BBQ or picnic.

The Homestead is fully self contained, includes all linen and modern conveniences such as a dishwasher.  The main bedroom is stunning, complete with original four poster bed.  The 2nd bedroom also features one of the family's original four poster beds and the bunk room is perfect for larger groups.  With 2 bathrooms, TV room and separate sitting room, there's plenty of space to relax, unwind and enjoy some time out.  A portacot is available for use if required (own linen required).

Whilst being true to it's historical roots, the home has been redecorated in rustic country style.  Comfortably accommodating 12 people (can extend to 13 if needed).  Steeped in history, The Homestead was the first sawn timber home in the Kerry district.  Home to Dave's Great Great Grandparents and every generation of his family since, this beautiful country homestead has stood the test of time and will now provide our guests with a glimpse into the history of 5 generations of the Tommerup family.
